Founded in 2004, Miniswys was born in Biel/Bienne Switzerland, the center of Swiss watch manufacture and elegant design, home to powerhouse luxury brands such as Rolex, Tissot, Swatch and other fine time pieces.

It was here that our company’s original co-founder, swiss inventor and entrepreneur Elmar Mock, developed an ultrasonic welding technique that helped create the Swatch wristwatch and pave the way for design-driven consumer electronics.

A revolutionary device; the Swatch marked one of the first intersections of functionality and fashion, fast becoming a precursor to more modern, must-have gadgets that enjoy similar ubiquity.
